A leading Bank is seeking an Events Assistant to Support the development and delivery of an events strategy which offers creative and cost effective solutions.

The candidate will also support delivery of the strategic business objectives and maximise return on investment.

Key responsibilities will include:
-Maintaining effective relationships with internal key stakeholders/network colleagues and external suppliers/production agencies throughout event design/delivery stages.
-Preparing event budgets, payment of invoices, tracking and reporting on spend and ensuring suppliers are paid promptly. Negotiating maximum cost savings.
-Input into the design of each event/initiative - support in preparation of materials to present options to senior management for consideration/agreement.
-Working with Marketing and external partners/contractors to develop the messaging and content for each event.
-Effective communications to network and internal/external stakeholders.
-Support the end to end process of events/roadshows/conferences/incentives/exhibitions
-Co-ordination/analysing post event feedback
-Contributing to/leading adhoc projects as required
-Support in the creation of appropriate evaluation techniques and measurements to analyse effectiveness of activities and regular reporting of results.

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following skills (ideally within financial services):
-Exceptionally strong planning/organisation and co-ordination skills
-Advanced PC skills (Excel/Word/Powerpoint)
-Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver to high standard of quality within tight deadlines
-Ability to manage a high volume of events simultaneously
-Confident in building/maintaining effective working relationship with people at all levels
-Well developed communication skills - both oral and written
-Strong senior stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence and persuade
-Financial acumen
-Strong team working skills, delegation and effective project planning communication
