About The Role
We are actively recruiting on behalf of one of our major Financial Services clients in the Sydney CBD. Due to recent release of project funding they will require a Solutions Architect to come on board for an initial 6 month period which is very likely to extend. The ideal candidate will have Market Data experience and exposure to Retail Share Trading and/or Share Trading Broker experience. You must be available to start in the near future or immediately if possible.
You will be responsible for:
- Producing detailed component specifications and translating these in to design requirements
- Assisting in the preparation of technical plans and estimates
- Providing advice on technical aspects of system development and integration
- Ensuring that relevant technical strategies and policies are applied correctly and exemptions approved
- You will have extensive solutions architecture experience as well as exposure to wealth management related systems. You will have demonstrated experience with developing program and solution architectures on large scale programs.
Key Skills Required:
- Solid Experience as a Solution Architect
- Retail Share Trading experience/Share Trading Brokerage experience - highly regarded
- Market Data knowledge - Reuters, Bloomberg etc
- Enterprise IT Environment exposure
- Java/J2EE experience or similar
- Outstanding communication skills
- Have the ability to form effective Stakeholder relationships at all Levels
- Understanding of TOGAF, Zachman etc
- Ability to Liaise with Vendor Partners
