Award winning Engineering Consultancy firm with offices in Suffolk (Commutable from Colchester, Norwich, Cambridgeshire) are looking to fill a number of Civil/Structural Project Engineer positions. Candidates will have the following skills:
A commitment to safety with awareness of current legislation/implementation is an imperative.
Preferred Engineering discipline background is Civil/Structural
Minimum 10 years experience at least 5 of which should be in Nuclear. Other preferred high integrity/safety critical sectors are power generation, petrochemicals and Oil & Gas.
5 years of this experience should be in a Project Engineer role.
Experience should include different phases of the project life cycle, such as:
Project start up, definition, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, handover and close out.
Co-ordination of engineering disciplines working to industry standards and to a certified quality management system.
Possess good communication skills and be able to conduct meetings and reviews with Client personnel with minimal supervision.
Desired Experience
Degree qualification in relevant engineering discipline. HND/HNC considered with experience in lieu.
Chartered Engineer.
Associate Membership of relevant engineering institution desirable. Should be working toward full Membership and chartered status through CPD.
Multi-discipline project experience.
Familiar with planning and Workhour control.
Self starter and safety aware.
Track record of successful completion of projects.
Experience of working in an integrated Project Team (involving Client/Contractor/Key Vendors) would be an advantage.
