The Information Architect is responsible for developing and maintaining the conceptual enterprise information model and content models that enable seamless content sharing and searching across the enterprise, including intranets, content management systems, file systems, social computing platforms and other unstructured data sources. The IA role is to provide a reliable and efficient infrastructure and architecture to manage content in accordance with the governance standards.

The Information Architect will play a key technical leadership role in defining direction as well as implementing major content-related projects. She/he will be responsible for leading and engaging in information/content management projects including creating and maintaining information models and flows, data dictionaries, taxonomy, data standards and governance, and processes.

The Information Architect provides input and architecture support to the Enterprise Content Governance strategy and Committee. The Information Architect will provide input on how ECM (Enterprise Content) and WCM (Web Content) technology can be leveraged to the enterprise, what tools/systems are currently available and any constraints. The Information Architect serves in the technical implementation/strategist role by working directly with the business, serving as the translator of business needs, and designing/building the required technical framework to accommodate the business' content requirements.

The Information Architect analyzes downstream business opportunities to adjust the Information Architecture, WCM and ECM framework to handle anticipated content capabilities.
- Must have experience working with multidisciplinary team in the creation of web-based applications and websites, including interaction with user experience designer.
- Experience in enterprise data related disciplines, ie, data modelling, architecture and messaging integration.
- Proven experience in developing information architectures aligned with industry reference models, taxonomy and information life cycle management within healthcare industry
- Self-starter, focuses and managing expectations without or minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal to deliver presentations or other artifacts

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and evangelize Information Architecture and provide technical leadership for developing and maintaining the enterprise information architecture and models
- Identify gaps in the existing information/data models and to address them actively in collaboration with business and product management teams; build flexibility and scalability into the model and evolve the Information Architecture to accommodate business needs in an agile fashion
- Provide technical leadership and support to the implementation of the web content and enterprise content management
- Maintain a library of the enterprise information models (ie, meta data models, information flows, data dictionaries, etc) and develop/enforce the change control process for the enterprise information architecture artifacts and their data governance.
- Coordinate information/data changes that occur as part of new development, maintenance and enhancements to ensure consistency with the Corporate Information/Data Model.
- Lead the development and maintenance of information management standards and conventions (eg, naming standards).
- Align Enterprise Information Architecture efforts with other Enterprise Architecture/Information Management counterparts as Data Steward to ensure overall alignment of architecture components.
- Ensures Enterprise Information Architecture artifacts and deliverables conforms to current Architectural standards and principles

Top 3-5 must have skills:
- Mush have 7-10 years' experience of owning and maintaining enterprise content and information model, to meet business short term and long term needs.
- The Information Architect must have web content management, enterprise content management, and metadata management skills and experience.
- Exposure with search engine optimization, and enterprise search tools like Ominfind Enterprise Search, GSA, a plus
- At least 5 years of experience, with web content management system, such as IBM Lotus WCM, Wordpress, etc.; and enterprise content management systems such IBM Filenet, Oracle UCM, etc.
- Experience with large scale content migration projects
- Experience with social computing content management, a plus
