My client, a large food manufacturer, is looking for an interim Chief Engineer with a strong people focussed leadership ability.
As Chief Engineer you will be responsible for building an action plan around capex, work-force and efficiency targets. You will need to be in touch with the needs of the factory, as well as the customer, as you drive improvement and better ways of working. This is an exciting opportunity to make a name for yourself and leave a lasting Legacy.
Key to success in this role will be your FMCG Senior Engineering experience, coupled with your strong leadership and people focussed attitude to developing skills on the shop floor. You'll also need to demonstrate a proven track record of improving OEE, PPM, reducing wastage and experience of managing capital projects.
A food manufacturing background will be highly desirable, as is the ability to take a strategic view over the site to plan against forecasted sales and volumes.
