Description
6 mo. plus contract position for a Sr. IT Anlalyst to work on general and technical architectural and development activities to support SCADA Project. The analyst will be expected to perform any tasks spanning the full software development life cycle: requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment. The analyst will be engaged in problem solving on complex systems and project issues. The analyst will be required to comply with IT&T standards for software development and documentation including PGN*s standard development methodologies and the CMMI SDLC process.
* Develop/enhance software based on the design specifications.
* Test the developed/assigned software to ensure all functional and technical requirements are met.
* Work with functional analysts and development leads to convert high level requirements into a logical and/or physical design.
* 5 years of IT SDLC analysis and development
* Demonstrated experience is gathering and documenting user requirements and test case execution
* Visual Studio 2008 and 2010
* C#, .NET (web and client development).
* Microsoft SQL Server database 2008.
Ideal or preferred skills:
Experience with Webmethods, Business Objects, ETL development, Experience with database administration and/or performance tuning (eg Oracle, Microsoft SQLServer). Distribution systems (eg SCADA, Grid, and Work Management) experience.
Local candidates Preferred. Must be able to work w-2 hourly - NO C2C allowed.
