Experis formerly COMSYS is looking for a FAST Technical Lead for a contract position with one of our Leading Pharmaceutical Clients in West Point and/or Rahway/Kenilworth, NJ. Ideal candidates would have experience working with Miscrosoft FAST Search if not - they should have some kind of experience working with a search tool. REQUIRED SKILLS AND DESCRIPTION:
-Technical delivery lead for the PoC phase.
-We are looking for someone that has designed and implemented a search tool previously (not necessarily custom, and more than likely some permutation of Microsofts FAST tool) and can guide the design, build and test effort.
-This role will lead multiple developers, likely located at one of the client's delivery centers in Asia, and will work closely with the Project Manager to refine the functional requirements and guide our clients efforts during the effort.
-Key thing here is experience with the search domain, not necessarily experience with any one specific tool.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
-End client has engaged us to develop and deliver one or multiple search proofs of concept within their research organization this calendar year (exact number TBD once the complexity of the scenarios is understood).
-We are currently analyzing several business areas where there is a defined need, rich data, and an organization that is ready and willing to be engaged.
-Once the scenarios are selected well begin the technical design and implementation work.
-Our intent here is to build a solution that is not of production scale or quality, but does address an existing business need and builds momentum within the organization for a full implementation at a later date.
