A global Oil and Gas Energy company requires a Service Introduction Lead to join them on a 6 month contract at their UK main office. Working with similar professionals and reporting to the Global IT Service Introduction Manager, this role will be a critical position within this client`s Service Introduction processes. The successful candidate will have proven Service Introduction and Service Delivery experience.

Role & Responsibilities:
. Provide expertise to project teams for the Service Introduction process
. Advise Project Managers about Service Introduction (SI) deliverables
. Assist the Project Manager in transitioning the service into the live environment
. Manage the Service Introduction process working closely and instructing where necessary the application support and development teams
. Audit project teams in relation to SI strategy and plans
. Ensure all members follow the SI guidelines
. Liaise with Service Support and Project Delivery departments for service readiness and operations acceptance criteria

Skills needed:
. Proven experience in Service Introduction
. Experience in live service support ideally in Service Delivery Management positions
. Full project development and delivery knowledge
. Understanding and experience of Service Transition and Service Management
. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
. Stakeholder Management
. Experience in an Energy or Financial sector would be preferable
. Service Delivery alone will not suffice - you must have specific Service Introduction experience
