Description
This project is in the early stages of a significant effort to simplify and improve focus & services with clients.
There are four key objectives to this effort:
* Grow revenues and increase client profitability
* Deepen our existing relationships
* Optimise capital allocation and client exposures
* Improve Front Office productivity
This role will likely be focused on multiple projects, which could include (not exhaustive):
* Liabilities MI
* International Payments
* Penetration Reporting
* Production Credits
In undertaking the role, the candidate would
* Develop/maintain/support existing in-house MI solutions
* Assist with the creation of business requirements, technical design & schema specifications.
* Build MicroStrategy objects (schema, reporting and Reporting Services)
* Facilitate distribution of reports via NarrowCast (Distribution Services).
* Demonstrate the capabilities of MicroStrategy via presentations and proof of concepts to internal audiences.
An ideal candidate will have built up experience using Microstrategy in the financial sector and be able to demonstrate:
* Solid experience of developing in all aspects of MicroStrategy v8.1; v9 essential;
* Expert understanding of SQL; SQL Server preferred; Procedural SQL desirable;
* Solid experience of NarrowCast;
* Ability to influence key decision makers, peer groups and functions outside direct control;
* Ability to excel in a structured but complex working environment;
* Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation including senior business sponsors and key service providers (both IT and business);
* Ability to use influencing and interpersonal skills to build agreement between divergent interest groups;
