Our client are a blue chip company with a significant presence in the Data Center (DC) power supply, infrastructure and DC equipment market. They are presently adding to their existing DC product offering, with a unique market leading solution and are focused on market innovation and leadership, in power consumption, asset utilization, efficiency and availability.

Our client is looking to recruit a highly skilled executive to lead the sales team, to meet and develop the expected market demand for this product offering. This is an international role spread across numerous geographies.

The successful candidate must be able to bring this unique market leading solution to market quickly and effectively, by selling through existing client customer relationships and also by identifying new customer opportunities which are currently not being exploited.
* Understand & identify business opportunities at an early stage to position solutions in this segment
* Map market to identify key stakeholders amongst end-users, consultants, contractors, competitors and position value proposition
* Lead different teams within the client organisation to package existing offerings in to a one source solution in the segment
* Generate a master plan to penetrate the data center business
* Define and follow-up of financial & non-financial targets and objectives
* Develop and deliver business plans through market research, market analysis and formulating business strategies
* Forecast medium to long term market potential for management analysis
* Must be capable of taking the pitch to a global decision making team which includes both facilities and IT executives to achieve maximum potential for this offering.

Requirements:
* Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering
* At least 8-10 years of working experience in the related field with minimum 5 years must be in business development/sales with proven track record
* Candidates must be technically competent and familiar with the DC marketplace and drivers & knowledge of key customers is a must
* Familiar with power distribution business in data center segment specializing in M&E consulting, Electrical contractor or electrical equipment supplier is preferred
* Good experience and market knowledge of electrical distribution in data centers
* Good technical knowledge especially in electrical equipment and distribution
* Able to work under pressure and work under tight deadlines
* Ability to engage senior management/working experience in large MNC an advantage
* Good presentation, interpersonal and communication skills. Self-motivated, work independently and a good team player
