Our client is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator (Tier III resource) with a broad technical background who is capable of performing hands-on systems administration and support within an enterprise-wide environment working with many different applications. This person is responsible for the daily administration of all infrastructure components including answering escalated support tickets, uptime, maintenance, upgrades, data migrations, backups and restores, and new system deployments. The position works in a team environment supporting Servers running Windows Server R2 in a heavily virtualized environment. The candidate for the systems administration position should be well versed in managing Windows Servers, with an excellent understanding of fundamental infrastructure services such as Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP, as well as a good understanding of network communications. They should have strong troubleshooting skills, and be able to work independently on projects with little oversight.

Technical Skills required:
MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator)
7-10 years expertise building, managing, and troubleshooting Windows server systems.
Active Directory (including Group Policy), DNS, and DHCP
System Center Suite (emphasis on Configuration Manager and Operations Manager)
A good understanding of virtualization on both VMWare (required), and Citrix (desired) hypervisors.
Experience deploying and managing Microsoft Remote Desktop Services and or Citrix XenApp
Experience deploying and managing Microsoft Clustering Services (Windows 2003 and 2008 R2)
An good understanding of Microsoft IIS and .NET. (An understanding of JAVA is also desirable)
Symantec Endpoint Protection
SAN based storage (Fiber and iSCSI)
Scripting languages (PowerShell and VBScript)
