Our client a leading tier 1 investment bank in London seek a contract Implementation Manager ideally with some experience as an Relationship Manager or dealing with RMs and business customers in a leading bank and people facing/going to their premises - expenses are also paid at 45p a mile should you be travelling to a client.

Looking for an Implementation Manager/Relationship Manager to talk to Business Banking customers across UK but mainly London/South East. In essence the role is to liaise with a number of Relationship Managers within the Corporate and Institutional division of a tier-1 wholesale bank in the migration of a large number of their clients to a third party. You will be responsible for ensuring your assigned customers successfully progress through all aspects of the change process. A good understanding of commercial banking operations is essential. We are looking for someone with excellent analytical skills and a high level of personal organisation, motivation and interpersonal abilities.

Role description
Ideally looking for someone who has change & relationship management experience as they will need to be able to adapt to new areas as & when needed. We would expect them to be less client/RD facing & more in an IM support role - but learning the ropes sufficiently that they could take the reigns, should the need arise. Skill sets - similar to the spec below, however with more of a focus on have change/project type experience .
The role is primarily to act as a reserve Implementation Manager ready to pick up any cases should an existing member of the team not be available over the critical last 3 months of the project.
The Implementation Managers role is to support a number of Relationship Directors within the Corporate Banking Division at a leading investment bank in the transition of their clients to a banking business partner
This is a Change Management function responsible for ensuring the assigned Corporate Banking Division customers successfully progress through all aspects of the change process. An understanding of banking operations is essential. This role will run a very small portfolio initially to ensure it is ready to step in at a moments notice. Until that is required they will work as part of the central project team hence the need for data analysis and Excel skills

Key role deliverables: criteria/results by which success can be measured
Liaise and co-ordinate various business operations teams and the Customer Relationship Directors to support the customer through the complete change process.
Identify and escalate any risks or issues that may affect the successful completion of a change process activity.
Track and Report progress on Corporate Banking Division customers through the end to end change process.
Meet own Case Management performance targets

Critical Competencies: skills and abilities required for the role
Excellent numerical and analytical skills including Excel
Able to travel in mainland UK depending where the client and Relationship Directors are located. The role will be based in Central London and/or Croydon for the majority of the time
Well developed communication skills
Planning and organisational skills
Ability to perform under pressure

Experience - Candidates will normally have the following:
Extensive corporate banking - gained with investment banks would be preferable
Experience of taking over/deputising for a colleague regardless of sector or location
