Description
Our client is a world leader in the design and manufacture of satellite systems. Their activities cover complete civil and military telecommunications and Earth observation systems, science and navigation programmes, together with avionics and a wide range of space equipment and associated ground infrastructure.
They have a new and exciting opportunity for An Electrical Engineer, with Manufacturing, Systems or RF background, required to work on process improvement and new process implementation within the AIT Engineering team.
The role will require close liaison within the engineering team and other internal departments, very good interpersonal skills are therefore required.
A background in Satellite/Aerospace, Manufacturing or Test with a good understanding of procedure and documentation preparation. Familiar with Electronic and RF Test and Measurement techniques or manufacturing process, in a highly quality conscious environment would also be desirable.
Qualifications and/or Skills
Essential
HNC/HND Electronics or equivalent
RF/Systems Engineering or manufacturing and test skills
Desirable
Electrical manufacture and design or Ground station operations.
Previous Experience

Documentation preparation
RF/Electrical test or development background
Desirable
Satellite, Aerospace, Ground Station, Test or development experience.
