Working with this household name you will be working in a large complex, fast paced environment. Reporting directly to the Program Manager you will use your specialist knowledge and business analysis techniques to coordinate and support processes and resources to achieve the outcomes of the project to satisfy multiple stakeholders and disciplines.
The Role:
- Determine, agree and document the users business and functional requirements, by facilitating workshops and seeking input from all stakeholders
- Performance of business analysis, benefits identification/mapping, coordination of research and problem solving as required to achieve program objectives and outcomes
- Provide input into progress of the project (time/budget/deliverables/risks)
- Provide input into project performance and assist in the implementation and tracking of resolution strategies
- Comply with project level frameworks, processes and reporting protocols
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining the ongoing appropriateness of program frameworks/processes
- Engage and communicate with business and IT stakeholder, business analysts, technical resources, internal and external suppliers/vendors and external consultants to achieve projects goals and milestones.
The Person:
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies
- Demonstrated knowledge of business case development, including benefits identification, analysis and subsequent monitoring
- Demonstrated ability in analysing and reporting of project status (outcomes, time, budget, risk, forecasting)
- Ability to communicate effectively at senior levels
- Ability to work with vendors, third party suppliers and internal and external consultants
- Demonstrated understanding of how ICT solutions can be utilised to effectively support/facilitate business requirements and facilitate business outcomes
Highly desirable:
- Knowledge of the energy industry in Australia
- Background in business improvement advantageous
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Project
- Previous experience in Enterprise Data Warehousing implementation projects and Business Intelligence initiatives highly regarded.
