Is to work for a global company experiencing rapid growth in the local Australian operation. Reporting to the Infrastructure Services Manager this is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to take ownership of a project focused role.
The Position:
The role is for a Senior Systems Engineer well versed in Microsoft, Cisco and VMWARE technologies to work on an Infrastructure refresh from in-house Legacy Servers to a hosted infrastructure service platform. The position will initially be for a 6 month contract with a view to either extend or possibly join them on a permanent basis depending on the project workload. You must have exceptional attention for detail, communication and documentation skills to complement your technical skills and knowledge as the project will be externally audited upon completion.

- Terminal Services - VMWARE Technologies
- Vsphere
- ESXi 4.0/4.1
- Vmware view - Cisco Technologies
- Cisco catalyst Switches
- Network design exposure
- 802.1x exposure or ideally implementation experience
- DNS, DHCP - Extensive experience working on Server migration or Infrastructure Refresh projects.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional communication and consulting skills
- High level attention to detail and strong documentation skills
