Swim Social Work Recruitment are looking to recruit a Social Worker to join a Parenting Assessment Team based in Waltham Forest. This role is full time for 3 months initially.You must hold GSCC registration and have substantial post qualification experience. The client will not accept CV's if you do not hold this registration/experience, so please apply if applicable.
Your job will be;
*To hold a complex caseload
*To complete Parenting Assessments for families in care proceedings and for families in the pre-proceedings process. The team is very busy and works to very tight deadlines often set by the courts.
*To work with frontline children's social work
*To complete initial/core assessments and section 47 investigations to a very high standard
*To give evidence of court - experience of this is essential.
