Swim Social Work Recruitment are looking to recruit a Registered Manager to join a Prevention and Reablement Team based in Hackney. This is a temporary full time role for 3 months initially.You must be a Registered Manager, ideally GSCC registered as well with substantial post qualifying experience. Your job will be to;
*Be responsible for planning and monitoring tasks that enables the successful delivery of the business objectives of your designated team, including the provision of Interim Care and Respite, Care, Intermediate Care and Residential Care
*Be responsible for the effective management of staff to deliver services that will achieve continuous improvement of the Council.
*Provide Interim Care and Respite Care, Intermediate Care, and Residential Care services for adult service user in a residential setting as part of an integrated Prevention and Re-ablement service.
*Manage a 37 bed Resource Centre and approximately 42, consisting of 2 Deputy Managers, 4 Senior Care Support Workers, Care Support Workers, domestic staff, catering staff and a handyperson.
*Be responsible and accountable for relevant devolved budgets
*Be responsible for developing and delivering the service in partnership with service users and carers and in accordance with the National Minimum Standards, Council policies and related legislation.
You will have;
*Must be a Registered Manager Certificate
*Leadership Skills
*Knowledge of Residential Care
*An excellent understanding of National Care Standard's
*Experience working in a Health Care setting
