Infrastructure Design Consultant required with experiance of working on global implmentation projects - the successful candidate will require in deph knowledge of physical networks, security storage, server operating systems, application platforms, Desktop operating systems, messaging, Directory services and hybrid environment infrastructure models.

Skills/Attributes Required
· Experience of working on global implementation projects
· Experience and detailed understanding of IP networks and traffic shaping.
· Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts;
· Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time;
· In depth knowledge and of physical networks, security, storage, Server operating systems, application platforms, Desktop operating systems, messaging, Directory services and hybrid environment infrastructure models.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Consulting with TDA teams to ensure agreement on system principles;
· Working closely with system developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction;
· Determining hardware, software and network requirements in order to set up or alter the system;
· Developing, documenting and revising system design procedures and quality standards;
· Ensure configuration management processes are followed for technical authoring
· Creating an architectural designs with the necessary specifications for the hardware, software, data and staff resources;
· Ensuring that implementation meets customer requirements and is aligned to the system roadmaps and technical architecture.
