Swim Social Work Recruitment are looking to recruit an Independent Reviewing Officer to join an Education, Children's and Cultural Service based in Richmond.You must hold GSCC registration and have substantial post qualification experience. The client will not accept CV's if you do not hold this registration/experience, so please apply if applicable.
You will have;
*An ability to demonstrate an understanding of why Equality and Diversity is important in employment and service delivery.
*An ability to demonstrate an understanding of why Customer Care is important in employment and service delivery.
*An ability to demonstrate an understanding of why Health and Safety at work is important in employment and service delivery.
*A thorough knowledge of the legislative framework relating to looked after children
*A thorough knowledge of issues affecting young people looked after by a local authority and systems for reviewing their care plans.
*An in-depth and knowledge of understanding of the needs of disabled children and their families.
*Ability to demonstrate good interpersonal skills and how to use these in individual and group dynamics.
*Effective and clear oral and written communication and negotiating skills.
*Effective IT skills
