World Leading Global Energy Oil Company has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst to work as part of the Back Office team, who are responsible for confirmation and settlement of all internal & external treasury deals including foreign exchange and money market deals transacted. The team also monitors and daily reconciles all the Treasury bank accounts for the company world wide.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • To execute all external and internal deal settlements and ensure all payments are made within the required cut-off times.
  • To monitor the Treasury SWIFT Interface System to ensure all FX and Money market deals are confirmed electronically within the required cut-off time.
  • Log investigations in the Investigator system and then work to resolve all investigations.
  • Perform all daily control actions relevant to the Back Office activities and maintain appropriate records. Detailing controls & records to internal & external Audit representatives.
  • Support Treasury systems upgrade projects.
  • Maintain up to date procedures manuals for Back Office processes.
  • Initiate Quantum Static Data requests where necessary and approve requests that have originated from within the region.
  • Maintain Bank Rec static.

Additionally you will also be responsible for MMF monthly interest reconciliation, Daily, Monthly and Quarterly rate sets, Bank Interest Analysis, Quarterly Share Dividend processing and Updating High Performance Dashboard detailing KPI.

You need a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. This needs combining with knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field and a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment.

You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
