Description
Material Planner
1. Plans and prepares vendor schedules for axle components considering mix, machine capabilities, material availability and customer requirements.
2. Tracks vendor acknowledgements of schedules.
3. Keeps management abreast of process, developments and pending problems.
4. Expedites and prioritizes the need for various components within scheduling parameters.
5. Coordinates implementation of engineering changes.
6. Manages supplier shipments to ensure on-time redelivery and part availability.
7. Analyze inventory buy component and implement measures to achieve inventory reduction targets.
8. Communicates with people outside organization, representing the organization to suppliers. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or email.
9. Indentifies complex problems and receives supplier related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
10. Provides component related information to various departments within aac.
11. Complies, categorizes audits or verifies information or data.

Experience
Bachelors degree in related field and minimum 2 years experience or associates degree in related field and 4 years experience.
Excellent communication skills required
Microsoft excel experience required sap experience preferred.
