Position Summary
Our client, a leading European Investment Bank is currently looking for a talented and experienced project manager to join its Central London-based PMO team. Working on a number of cross-product initiatives at a time of great organisational development, this is a great opportunity to play a pivotal role in some high-profile industry initiatives.
We are looking for a range of skill sets and experience types, but all candidates must have proven project management experience and success in delivery from an end-to-end perspective. We are not looking for a technical/IT project manager, the role will be primarily operations based.
You will have an investment operations background and have excellent stakeholder management & engagement skills. Able to work very closely with both business and IT stakeholders, you will drive progress and ensure milestones and deliverables are met.
You will take lead in terms of project reporting and ensure that management information is both accurate and of high quality.
Although not essential we are looking for project managers with Fixed Income and/or emerging markets experience. A strong understanding of risk and control would also be advantageous but by no means essential.
Knowledge of the full trade life cycle and a number of investment banking products is highly desirable. A deep and thorough understanding of sales support, settlements and reconciliation processes will also be beneficial.

Skills/Requirements:
- Bachelors degree (essential)
- Strong and demonstrable project management experience.
- A strong investment banking background
- Working knowledge and demonstrable experience of a number of investment banking products and working knowledge of the entire trade life cycle process.
- Professional approach to work and ability to deliver excellent results.
- Hard working, motivated and dedicated work ethic and an ability to perform and deliver in dynamic and complex environments.
- Excellent attention to detail, highly numerate and analytically-minded
- Robust project management skills: ability to build detailed project plans, manage progress and proven implementation abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong team player who can integrate well into a busy team and perform to a very high standard
