Position : SQL Server DBALocation : Baton Rouge LA
Duration : 12-36 Months
Our client is looking for SQL Server DBA. Qualified participate will design, create, and perform maintenance of computerized databases. Candidate will be responsible for quality control and auditing of databases to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data. Work with management to develop database strategies to support company needs. Consult with and advises users on access to various databases. Work directly with users to resolve data conflicts and inappropriate data usage. Direct the maintenance and use of the corporate data dictionary.
Required Skills:
The Database Administrator shall have the following qualifications:
* 3-5 years experience managing and maintaining SQL databases using MS SQL Server .
* Experience designing, mirroring, replicating, archiving, and tuning for high performance and availability preferred.
* Experience designing and building reports using MS SQL Reporting Services preferred.
* Experience with SQL Server Integration Services and Server Analysis Services preferred.
* 3-5 years experience deploying and managing of databases in large environments (500+ users).
* Experience in application database debugging and troubleshooting, including security and access controls.
* Experience deploying databases in web-based applications and multi tiered architectures
