My client, a large federal government agency, requires an Executive Assistant/Personal Assistant that will be integral to their operations. This is a new role due to growth within the department and could be a VERY long term role.
The successful applicant will have a combination of the following skills and experience:
- Relevant experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant
- Relationship management with high ranking officials/managers
- Working in high pressure environments
- Experience in large Corporate or Federal Government would be beneficial
- Exceptional time management skills
- An in depth knowledge Microsoft Office products
- Experience in reporting to key stakeholders
This role will see you being responsible for the following tasks:
- Working closely with the senior executives on all relevant projects
- Managing the varied demands of several high level Directors
- Developing key relationships and nurturing established relationships
- Providing secretarial and administration support as required
- Diary Management
- Travel arrangements
- Ensuring that the department runs smoothly everyday
On offer to the successful applicant will be a non-ongoing role for 6 months initially (with opportunities to be extended) and an annual salary of up to $65,000. Other benefits such as flexi leave and varied starting times could also be accommodated
