Description
Our client require an Interim Head of Procurement to put in place robust procurement and contract management arrangements to help the organisation comply with legal requirements and internal policies to help achieve value for money. The organisation have recently moved away from a shared service arrangement and are in the process of setting up their own in house procurement and contract management service. The role will include setting up procurement systems controls and procedures, setting up and managing the operation of a procurement board, putting in place management reports, line management responsibility for the procurement and contract management team.
Experience required:
Experience of putting in place effective procurement and contract management controls, Experience of competitive tendering including OJEU procurements, contract management experience, experience of managing a high performing procurement and contract management function, Experience of Public Sector Procurement regulations, Any NHS experience would be of interest.
