System Engineer job #2661 -- Akron/Canton, OhioLocal Canton company providing IT outsourcing services is seeking a talented System Engineer to fill a Permanent position.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for design, installation, management, security and documentation of computer network hardware and software systems (Windows 2003 servers).
• Determines and recommends hardware and software requirements.
• Troubleshoots and resolves hardware and software problems associated with LAN/WAN network and servers.
• Monitoring and maintaining the enterprise backup system and provide end-user Level 2 support.
Required Skillset:
? VMware
? Windows server (Active Directory, WINS, DNS and DHCP)
? Exchange
? SQL (not a DBA, but need to installation, backup, restore)
? Microsoft IIS
? Enterprise backup solution
? Enterprise Anti-Virus solution
? TCP/IP, VLAN and Layer 2 and 3 switching
? Desktop support (Windows 98, NT, 2000 and XP)
? Experiences with Cisco router, switch, firewall would be a plus
? MCSE
