Description
The primary responsibility of the role is to provide commissioning, quality assurance and testing coordination to the GAL Baggage IT Project deliverables. The role will interface with the Baggage Integrators (Siemens/Logans), SCADA Integrators (ITS/Atkins) and the GAL Engineering Controls support team. The candidate must have a strong background in automation and controls engineering with SCADA integration in airport environments.
Principal accountabilities
The main accountabilities of the role are:
- WinCC SCADA commissioning, quality assurance and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
- Coordinate SCADA commissioning and SAT activities with multiple project and operational teams
- Adherence to all relevant airport processes during implementation activities
- Clear and appropriate communications with all stakeholders, collating SCADA commissioning snags back to the Project Team and Suppliers
- Manage and communicate progress on SCADA commissioning activities to the Project Team
- Identify, define and scope SCADA issues, constraints, changes, interdependencies where appropriate
- Commissioning/SAT sign-off of SCADA supplier deliverables
