Description

Our customer was formed in July 2005 by merging several smaller technology-based software companies and operating units. This business entity provides technology-based products and services that improve performance of businesses linked to the land.

Our customer provides software solutions for simplified business and information management across the supply chain to help agribusinesses improve yields and quality; reduce variability of results; streamline business processes; enhance business analysis and decision making; track, capture, and manage data; and deliver peace of mind with risk mitigation products.

Their tools are designed to enhance productivity and customer service through automating and streamlining tasks across the spectrum of your business. from Back Office functions such as accounting, financial, payroll, inventory, and patronage to operations such as grain handling, crop planning, precision analysis, bin management, traceability, retail transactions, and fuel tracking. We also offer specialty crop tools for labor performance management, supply management, and farm management.

Presently, our customer is looking for a quality assurance professional to join their team on a contract that is expected to extend for up to 3 years in Urbandale, Iowa.

This role will be expected to be onsite, so candidates who do not wish to either relocate or travel to Des Monies every week will not be considered for the role.

These positions will join an already established team that is testing our customers flagship software products. These applications are written in Java web technologies, so the chosen candidate will have a technical background, and ideally have done some programming/coding with Java in the past. The experience working with Java code does not need to be extensive, but the ability to read cose is necessary. A technical mindset and the "Code Break" mentality is very important for this role. Additionally the ability to perform both Manual tests and some level of automation proficiency is very important for the role. Our customer uses QTP for their automation effort so experience writing and developing scripts in that tool is very helpful.

There will be two step interview process, phone the onsite. The chosen candidate will be selected and expected to start soon thereafter. Interviews are scheduled to start immediately. The job location is Urbandale, IA.
