Strong IT Security Analyst/Consultant required for a 3 month initial contract with our financial services client in Edinburgh.
The selected candidate will be an experienced, hands-on IT Security Analyst and will have extensive experience of Security, Risk and Compliance of data, infrastructure and processes, ideally within a Financial Services environment.
A thorough knowledge of Security Architecture and Design combined with technical security control and knowledge of IT security risk standards is essential. Additional skills in incident handling would also be required. You should possess relevant industry qualifications or experience, for example diploma in information security, CISSP, CCSA, CISSM, CEH or equivalent. An understanding of BCM, BS7799 and PCI standards and audit processes would also be required.
In addition to solid technical skills the selected candidate must possess very strong communication skills as this role will be required to represent this business function effectively as the only member of the team present at this site.
A recent Disclosure Scotland or CRB certificate would be a huge advantage.
