Job Title: Storage Engineer
Responsibilities:
The Storage Engineer position provides administrative support of a storage environment to include NetApp and CommVault solutions and services. Assist with CIFS, NFS, FCP configurations using NetAPP. Contribute to the development of standards and procedures within the department. Provide input to the team regarding ongoing storage usage assessments and projections based on growth trends. Assist with the development and adherence to industry best practices. Develop sound working relationships with peer teams and departments to maintain high customer satisfaction. Provide extensive support with issue isolation, resolution, and the implementation of plans to prevent reoccurrences as necessary. Work with vendors to resolve issues to maintain an in-depth knowledge of industry trends to ensure K12, Inc. remains competitive. Support other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
X Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (equivalent experience may be substituted)
X NCDA certification is desired.
X Linux certified is desired (RHCE optional).
X Four (4) years practical experience in an IT organization supporting NetApp storage.
X Knowledge of VMWare is highly desirable.
X Knowledgeable of CommVault integrated with a Linux/Windows environment.
X Ability to utilize software and hardware diagnostic tools to identify, diagnose, and repair complex issues affecting system performance.
X Available on an on-call rotation for support issues.
X Strong verbal and written communication skill set.
X Team-player.
X Organized and highly motivated.
