Description
If successful in this position, you will be responsible for providing network operational support for multiple clients and performing the engineering life cycle functions of consulting, detailed design, implementation, client migration and hand over to production for part or all of a network technical solutions mapped out within the projects scope.
Responsibilities will include
- Providing network support and break fix functions in support of customer Service Level Agreements.
- Leads in the technical assessment and delivery of specific technical solutions to the customer.
- Coordinates implementation of new installations, designs, and migrations for technology solutions into the Data Centre.
- Provide advanced technical consulting and advice to others on solution design, system management, tuning and modification of solutions.
- Provides input to strategy moving forward.
- 8+ years of professional network experience with industry certifications at an engineering and design level (eg CCDP, CCIE).
- Demonstrated experience in CISCO and HP Networking switching, Routers and associated protocols.
- Has sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to design and scope multiple deliverables across a number of networking technologies for enterprise clients
- Possesses an understanding, at a detailed level, of architectural dependencies of technologies in use in the customers Information Technology (IT) environment.
- Frequently uses product and application knowledge along with internals or architectural knowledge to develop solutions.
