Description
Mechanical Design Engineers with one of the following CAD Packages:
- Catia v5
- Cadam 2d
- Solidworks 3d
- Helix 2d
Ideally you will work within the Automotive Production Engineering Sector but strong Aerospace candidates will also be relevant.
Brief Job Description;
Role:
- Mechanical Design of Powertrain equipment, specially machining equipment, machining jigs, fixtures and pallets. (Engine related Not Product Design).
- Mechanical Design Solutions for the new model implementation onto Production Line.
- Standard Parts Procurement
- Project Control
- Supplier Support, development and control.
- Production Support
Experience:
- Minimum experience of 18 months
- Mechanical Design, draughting, parts lists, detailing, geometrical tolerance's
- Tool Design/Tool Making
- Customer Liaison
(Desirable Experience)
- Hydraulic, Pneumatic & Basic Electrical Control Systems
- Large and Small Project Control Supervision
- Machinery Directive/Machine Building Knowledge
- CE Marking & Requirement Knowledge
- Design Risk Assessment Capability
- FMEA Knowledge
Contract Length:
3 months Initial Contract - after 3 months successful completion it maybe renewed for 18 months dependent on your success.
Pay Rate: £ Per Hour
Commutable Locations:
South West, Bristol, Swindon, Wilstshire, Chippenham, Cheltenham
