Websphere Message Broker, 2 Openings!
Will serve as the lead technical consultant responsible for design, engineering and development of information technology solutions. Supports the design, analysis, development and implementation of engineering infrastructure solutions of projects and/or work requests for complex business solutions. Troubleshoots and proceeds on resolving infrastructure compatibility issues based on system architecture, project requirements, customer expectations, etc. Responsibilities may include risks assessments, partnering on capacity planning, budget forecasting, and the diagnosis and correction of application/network problems. May serve as the primary contact for vendors. Technologies span mainframe, midrange, desktop, server, network data, voice, messaging, web, database, and output/receiving.
Responsibilities
- Minimum 3 years experience with WebSphere MQ Administration on multiple operating environments including AIX, Solaris, Windows, z/OS and iSeries Platforms.
- Minimum 2 years experience desired with WebSphere Message Broker adminstration on Unix.WebSphere MQ and Message Broker systems and product infrastructure senior engineer responsible for the installation, configuration, support, and administration of Middleware messaging software products.
- Experience with Product & Maintenance installations and upgrades of MQ and Message Broker.
- Able to manage, configure and monitor MQ Listeners, Command Servers, Channel initiators, Trigger Monitors, MQ Log files & Dead Letter Queues.
- Able to setup security for WebSphere MQ objects for data access and administration using role-based security.
- Proficient in SSL Configuration on WebSphere MQ. Unix Shell script writing/editing desirable.
- Understanding of networking concepts. Excellent analytical, problem solving and performance tuning abilities. Strong communication and customer support skills.
- Education: Bachelors Degree or higher is strongly preferred in Computer Science or related discipline.
- WebSphere MQ and Message Broker systems support, administration, and product installation.
