ELectrical Engineers, 10 Openings!

Will Provide electrical technical resources & required support for the planning, design, implementation & closeout of projects.

Specific accountabilities include:

  • Provide major project design solutions to resolve plant operational challenges & equipment obsolescence issues.
  • Ensure coordination of design inputs from the plant systems & component engineering organizations, operational & maintenance considerations to facilitate optimal design solutions.
  • Provide expertise to recognize & resolve complex engineering/technical problems & also recognize when additional expertise or technical experience is required.
  • Ensure appropriate engineering rigor is applied to designs such that applicable code & regulatory requirements are met.
  • Perform the necessary task to be qualified to the ETQS activities for Engineers in Major Projects under the accredited population. 

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in electrical or computer engineering from accredited university
  • Eight (8) years or more of experience in an operating nuclear station or related role.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple organizations to achieve desired objectives, using the appropriate department & site processes/programs & negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills & effective communication skills (written & oral).
  • Ability to meet commitments while managing multiple objectives & projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform in stressful situations, readily adapt to & accept changes in work schedule, priorities, & job expectations.
  • Demonstrated problem solving & troubleshooting skills for complex nuclear station issues.Experience designing or operating &/or supporting electrical/I&C systems or components.
  • Self-motivated & able to advance projects without management involvement.Previous plant modification experience.
  • Registered Professional Engineer.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate broad site objectives to specific job functions (nuclear/personnel safety, equipment reliability, production, human performance, cost-effectiveness, regulatory compliance, etc.) to improve overall team performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide visionary leadership, initiate &/or facilitate change & implement improved processes.
  • The proposed personnel need to have specific experience in medium & low voltage electrical systems & DC electrical control power systems.
