The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the installation and configuration of the WebSphere application systems, patches and upgrades.
The Role:
- Supporting the development, testing and production environments
- Carrying out all aspects of capacity planning and performance monitoring
- Building relationships with users, IT staff and management to identify and resolve issues associated with system implementation of business process changes
- Improving processes used for Configuration Management
- Migrating codes in testing and production environments
- Implementing or participating in testing, change management planning to ensure the quality of projects and their smooth execution
- Identifying, managing and reporting changes, issues, defects and risks and develop contingency plans to resolve issues that may impact activity success
- Strong experience with WebSphere Portal and WebSphere Application Server
- In addition you must have excellent customer facing skills including written and oral, strong problem solver and be able to work well without supervision or as part of a team.
