Currently looking for a SQL Developer to be responsible for development covering Credit Risk Tools and other applications as necessary within a City Based Investment Bank.
Reponsibilities:
* Work directly with users in Credit Risk to identify their data requirements
* Arrange for data to be transformed as appropriate and made available through local tools or global systems to ensure that data can be queried to meet user needs
* Document any useful functionality for further use in global IT systems.
* Provide backup and membership of the local Credit Risk Management IT development team
Requirements:
* Significant experience in a front/middle office environment within a bank.
* Analysis and development skills with SQL Server and Excel
* In depth database understanding and practical query skills via SQL
* Some familiarity with counterparty credit risk concepts (counterparty exposure, counterparty hierarchies, ratings, etc)
* Credit Risk Management experience
Desireable Experience:
* Unix, Windows, Control-M scheduling.
* Oracle
* .NET development skills with Oracle experience.
* Database design, documentation and administration.
* Microsoft Access
