Our Dorset based client is urgently seeking two Health & Safety Advisors to provide Health ands Safety advice, guidance and support for Council Service Units. You will also enable managers and head teachers to ensure that services are delivered safely and within a safe working environment.
Essential:
The NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or an equivalent NVQ level 5 health and safety qualification
Graduate Membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent status with another professional body which would enable the holder to register on the Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register (OSHCR).
Proven relevant Health & Safety experience Access to your own transport
Desirable:
Experience of working in a local authority
The use and operation of test and measuring equipment
A good understanding of safety management systems
