Description
A major Global Insurer is looking for a Strategy Planning Project Manager. The Strategy Planning Project Manager will join the Capacity Planning function and will be responsible for assisting the Head of Capacity Management in creating and developing a new strategic planning process for the Insurer. The successful individual needs to have a strong Project/Strategy Manager or Business Architect background with a successful planning and strategic process delivery background.
Key Responsibilities
*To support the setup as opposed to defining the actual strategy process
*Work in partnership with colleagues in HR, Property, Legal, Risk, the Business, Communications and Technology Services
*Work with the Head of Capacity Management and their peers
*Required to manage key stakeholders which will include; Board of Directors and wider team members
Required Experience
*Experience in Strategy and strategic planning
*Strong project management experience
*Experience of dealing with Board Level Executive
*Highly delivery focused
*Behave in a consultative manner
*Hold yourself and others accountable for meeting agreed deadlines
*Ability to assimilate large amounts of information and get to the core of the issue
*Ability to understand management ideas/needs and convert into something real, transforming theory into reality
*Ability to influence others & build lasting working relationships
*Ability to negotiate and drive consensus across multiple stakeholders
*Work well in a high-stress environment
The successful candidate MUST be able to demonstrate previous Strategic/Capacity Planning experience.
