Our client is seeking a Project Co-ordinator to work in their Shared Services team to manage Change Requests from various areas of the business. The role will involve the assessment of the changes, preparation of impact analysis and co-ordinate the releases.
Essential Criteria
- Experience in coordinating, directing and facilitating projects so they are completed on time and achieve all objectives
- Ability to lead project teams, monitor, measure and report team performance against targets and recommend change as identified
- Ability to co-ordinate and manage change and release management
- Experience working with senior management with a proven ability to work in a pro-active and autonomous manner within a large volume enterprise
- Excellent project co-ordination, interpersonal, communication, prioritisation, presentation, problem solving and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to conduct business process analysis and present alternatives to Project Sponsor, Project Team and Stakeholders
Key experience
- Ability to co-ordinate, direct & facilitate project activities brought about through Change Requests
- Using your project management skills/knowledge, co-ordinate the governance of change requests, including impact assessments and prioritisation
- Work closely with business and IT resources to ensure outcomes are delivered as agreed
- Conduct business process analysis and have a good understanding of the project life cycle.
- Some formal project management methodology certification would be well regarded.
- Present results of business process analysis to Project Sponsor, Project Team and Stakeholders as required.
- Ensure successful release management is completed through communication to all parties.
