Description
A growing biotech organisation requires a Project Manager for their manufacturing campus in the North West of the UK. You will provide leadership through definition, design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and qualification of equipment associated with the key process stages of formulation, filing, freeze drying and clean utilities. To gain detailed knowledge associated with key facility equipment and to carry this knowledge into the ongoing site operation after the project is completed.Responsibilities
. Project Management
-Cost estimate and control specific to areas of responsibility
-Programme and plan activities specific to areas of responsibility
-Procure and deliver agreed scope associated with areas of responsibility
-Control and report KPIs for areas of responsibility
. Project Engineering
- Define and specify technical requirements for the procurement of key manufacturing equipment associated with formulation, vial filling and freeze drying of product specific to the facility
- Review and verify all vendor specification, documentation and actual equipment to ensure it meets business needs associated with the sites operation
- Test to ensure that the equipment meets business requirements both at the vendors premises and on site

Experience required:
. Qualified to a minimum degree level, preferably with post graduate qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline. The Job Holder should ideally be a chartered engineer or progressing towards chartered status.
. Ideally fluent in a second language either French or German.
. Extensive experience in project engineering with at least 5 years associated experience in pharmaceutical fill finish and GMP regulated environment.
. The Job Holder should be able to communicate at Directorate or Operator level both inside and outside the organisation.
. The Job Holder must have highly developed influencing skills to positively influence contractors and vendors.
