Our client, a worldwide blue chip brand name is seeking a Liaison Manager to co-ordinate between internal business teams, both domestically and internationally on occasion with regards to the development of a new E-commerce/payment product they are looking to launch. The role is working with various teams such as marketing, legal, fraud, product development to enable business acceptance with this new product.
The successful candidate will have a background in business development or account management, be able to deal with various senior stakeholders and co-ordinate and manage the various schemes of the product launch. You must have a strong understanding of cards and card schemes either within a card company or within a bank working on card authorization processes. A commercial background is essential, rather than a project background, but an understanding of project methodologies is beneficial.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Organise and liaise with all the relevant internal business stakeholders and product owners on the planning, engagement with and on-going coordination of activities related to the engagements, other card schemes, and domestic processors
- Coordinate the development of the engagement strategy and detailed engagement plan, including key deliverables, milestones, and dependencies
- Document and maintain all relevant documentation, including discussion points, position statements, and outstanding issues as part of the on-going engagements
- Coordinate and work with Liaison teams within Europe
- Provide project management support for all engagements, including meeting minutes, agreed actions, risks and dependencies
- Provide regular reporting on the status, outstanding issues, and activities of the engagements
- Facilitate the planning of the engagement meetings
- Liaise with the proposition project manager to input into the overall proposition and programme plan
- Liaise with and coordinate the activities of any third-parties, as required to support the engagement activities
