Description
I am seeking an experienced Finance Manager for a leading global bank in Edinburgh. You will be required to lead a small team managing the Change Programme budget, creating monitoring systems and reporting to Central Group Programme.
Responsibilities will involve
* Scope, plan and manage programme spend against approved Business Case budget
* Create monitoring systems to monitor programme spend
* Create reporting process for upward reporting to Group Programme Office
* Manage the acquisition and analysis of data and processes to identify budget variances and take action to address
* Ensure appropriate governance is adhered to and that budget issues are reported timely and accurately
* Manage any changes to Programme budget via Change Control and appropriate project governance
* Ensure accuracy of all project documentation
* Ensure self and any direct reports adhere to Group policies and control procedures.
* Develop and manage business relationships with key interested parties including Group Programme Office
* Share knowledge and best practice where appropriate to support continuous improvement within Programme
* Previous experience of managing budgets of large cross Business area programmes, with good understanding of budgetary methodologies and a proven track record of delivery.
