Description
Senior Business Analyst required by major international law firm. They are looking for a senior business analyst who has worked in an application architecture enviroment and can translate senior stakeholder business requirements into functional specifications.
The Senior Business Analyst will Work with business users to identify and document functional requirements for new or amended system functionality and business processes., Keep abreast of all application and functional changes and communicate them to the clients. Maintain an in-depth understanding of the capability, configuration and roadmap for defined technical applications. Undertake impact assessments of proposed changes on specific technical applications.
· Ensure that business strategy is translated into workable functionality and business processes within systems.
· Work with the portfolio managers on delivery of agreed initiatives

Experience required for the Senior business analyst will include
Previous experience of creating written functional specifications, Highly developed written communication skills and be capable of breaking down complex problems into clearly written logical arguments.Knowledge of web based development projects· Strong business analyst experience and a demonstrate a background in using and applying a variety of business analyst tools to facilitate requirements gathering, analysis, business process modelling, stakeholder management, development of business cases, solution options and functional specification documentation for the proposed solution/s.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior business analyst to work on a major programme within a global organisation. This is a fixed term contract and will last for 9 months with a possibility of permanent being offered after completion.
