Our client is looking for a workstream lead BA to work on a project covering their fund of hedge fund business. The successful candidate will join the Business Projects & Support team whose prime responsibility is to deliver Global Custody projects and change management initiatives across Asia and Europe. The team provides experienced and dedicated project managers and business analysts to support the Global Custody drive to develop and enhance its business model.

Currently, the business is developing the Fund of Hedge Fund business as a strategic service with a Global offering. Therefore a new programme has been initiated to develop the business model and product service offering.

The person should be a mature, proactive individual with experience of meeting tight deadlines, operating in a senior management team, navigating evolving priorities. A candidate with previous experience in working on Front Office tools in a Fund of Hedge Fund manager will be given preference.

The successful candidate will be required to lead the Service Development Workstream and carry out key project management activities necessary for its successful delivery including:
Lead a cross-geographical Workstream of around 10 analysts owning or contributing to a number of programme deliverables.
* Direct ownership of business requirements, working with a client relationship team, and also technology delivery teams
* Managing contract and permanent BA resources to support other workstreams (delivering functional requirements, training materials, testing capability, transformational process flows, client migrations etc)
* Contributing as part of the Programme Management team to the definition of overall programme deliverables and timelines, and execution against the agreed plan
* Create and own the plan for carrying out assigned tasks
* Identify, record and resolve or escalate risks and issues identified
* Assisting the Programme Manager in the tracking of the business case and benefits
* Ability to elicit business requirements, produce and review Business Requirement Definition (BRD) documents to support analysts where necessary
* Lead the production of a variety of outputs as appropriate including end-to-end process models, flow diagrams, data dictionary and procedures to support the FoHF service offering.
* Review System Design Specifications to ensure they meet the business requirements.
* Review and input in to the creation of test scripts and design test plans
* Provide support to the Programme Manager in the development, implementation and conversion phases of projects.
* Prepare comprehensive reports presenting recommendations for various project initiatives such as operating procedures or work flow improvement, organizational changes, introduction of controls and procedures, evaluation of equipment and automation requirements, etc
* Support the post-live operations after rollout to global offices.
* Project-lead certain areas of larger projects as required.

The successful candidate should have:
Full fund of hedge fund trade life cycle experience - a solid understanding of custody and fund administration, and of portfolio management (particularly liquidity and exposure management) preferably gained at a Fund of Hedge Fund manager
Management experience and ability to work as part of a senior management team, including experience working in a pressured environment, dealing with evolving priorities and time constraints and the ability to plan or re-plan dynamically
A track record of delivery within a programme structure
