Key Responsibilities
This is a hands-on role responsible for providing technical support for Development Aerospace products, ensuring smooth transition into production. Working across multi-departments, the key responsibility of this engineer is to take ownership of issues related to this transition.

Objectives
* To support the development of new products, ensuring their smooth transition into production.
* Commission new designs giving feedback and support to design engineers
* Support re spin and design changes to product
* Manage all types of Qualification activities, giving good technical support and feedback to relevant project teams as required.
* Provide pre-production support to Manufacturing Cells over Engineering and Test issues, establishing Root cause analysis and process improvements as appropriate
* To create Acceptance Test & Environmental Stress Screening Procedures
* Perform all pre-production Acceptance Test & Environmental Screening Procedures
* Training test technicians.
* FRACAS - failure reporting and corrective action system. Establish data collection and review for new products, ensuring sustainability into volume manufacture
* Deliver product portfolios on all new products to post design
* Implement and adhere to handover checklist as part of the toll gate process
* Asset/Configuration Management

Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience as an Electronic Engineer
* You will be used to working on a variety of projects at any one time, managing complete Environmental Quality Test Programs as required, and have a good understanding of High Speed Digital Design Techniques & Analysis tools.
* Your experience will include supporting PCB/Unit Assembly, with a good knowledge of Surface Mount Manufacturing methods.
* You will need to be experienced in Modern Bench Test methods with excellent de-bug skills to component level, with a structured approach to root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action.
* Strong planning & organisational skills, ability to multi-task & deal with a varied workload
* Enthusiasm is essential.
* You must have excellent influencing and communication skills, both written and verbal, and be used to dealing with people at all levels
