Senior Progam Manager
3 Month Contact on W2

This person will be coming in to assist as a Program Manager Senior to two Shield Advance projects.
-Manage the relationship in Specialty Benefits (Dental Benefits)
-HMO Shield Advance Project.
1) Plans and implements extremely complex projects/programs (or multiple projects/programs) spanning across business areas where analysis requires evaluation of intangible variance factors.
2) Able to impact beyond area of responsibility.
3) Ensures strategic direction of projects/programs is in line and designs strategies for alignment with Company and business unit goals and objectives; acts as the business unit liaison to corporate initiatives and projects.
4) Consults and makes recommendations to senior management on significant issues.
5) Broad knowledge of company products, functions, marketing and/or service policies and procedures.
6) Ability to interact with all levels including senior management and influence decision-making.
7) Proven ability to determine key business issues, develop effective action plans and implement to successful conclusion.
8) Ability to operate at a strategic business level and fully incorporate business strategies within all projects/programs.
9) Generally requires Masters degree or equivalent and 8-10 years of experience.
10) Previous project management experience in multi-disciplinary setting required.
May provide guidance and leadership to and may supervise project consultants/managers.
Previous experience as a Progam Manager managing techonology project.
Previous experience managing metrics on projects
MS Project Must
Healthcare experience plus
Visio plus
