Position Description:

Very hands-on role performing day-to-day project tasks. Provide input into configuration decisions based on business flows and other requirements gathered from business users and participate in the architecture of the system. Accountable for testing and configuration of system and documentation associated with same. Assists in requirements gathering. Prepare deliverables such as System Requirement Documents, functional specifications, test and user documentation. While supporting the Invoice to Cash Senior Business Analyst, responsible for working with an Oracle implementation consultant to learn and gain expert knowledge on the appropriate Oracle Financials module configurations and extensions. Review process flow diagrams and configures and sets up system accordingly.

Responsibilities:
  • Follow a disciplined approach to documenting business needs that need to be met by the solution design.
  • Review data/process flow diagrams and documentation, participate in discussions to elicit requirements using approved business analysis techniques (interviews, document analysis, working sessions, documented business processes, and system analysis).
  • Support the Senior Business Analyst identify impact to target go-live entities that will result from new configuration and improved business functionality (gap-fit analysis), and identify methods for addressing these gaps and change impacts.
  • Maintain document control procedures.
  • Be aware of current system issues and assists in identifying gaps.
  • Analyze issues, activities, and processes.
  • Measure and report on requirements activity and maintain timely communications with all relevant stakeholders throughout the project life cycle to the underlying system configuration.
  • Support the Senior Business Analyst to create test scripts containing acceptance test criteria, test conditions and scenarios.
  • Work closely with the business units and consultants to develop test scripts to ensure the scripts exercise the relevant system functionality and stability. Support definition and implementation of test plans including User Acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Develop specific action plan, commit to action steps and perform day-to-day project tasks.
  • Ensure all end-users are trained and supported for go-live.
  • Ability to gather country specific requirements and determine impact to the system.
  • Ability to work autonomously during remote rollout activities and will training AR Collection personnel in a country.
  • Ability to support the country in gathering required final questionnaire supporting documents and providing appropriate input to the Implementation team members in Portland.
  • Ability to map old charts to new charts and be able to ask company in country accounting and FF personnel questions about how their current systems operate.
  • Evaluate GAPs in the understanding of current questionnaire and pre-go-live questionnaire.


Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Proficient with basic accounting skills and understand company Chart of Accounts.
  • Proficient with fixed asset accounting knowledge.
  • Complete understand the conversation approach to be used for fixed assets.
  • Demonstrate a through understand of the base configuration for each country and the legal entities involved in the rollout. Including all statutory and localizations involved.
