Description
To manage and oversee the day to day financial accounting, month end processing and quarterly management accounts of all securitized vehicles and third party clients. The job holder will also manage the process for the preparation of the statutory financial statements for the year end for 35+ Special Purpose vehicles and their parent companies in accordance with UK GAAP.
Oversee the day to day financial accounting and month end close process including Balance sheet substantiation of all clients ledger.
Responsible for the preparation and distribution of the quarterly management accounts to issuers.
Review and manage the preparation of financial statements for Special purpose vehicles and their parent companies, including the notes to the financial statements in line with filing deadlines.
Co-ordinate and manage the team workload.
Responsible for the cash reporting and cash management for all the special purpose vehicles.
Develop and motivate direct reports.
Oversee the quarterly processing and recording of investor payments and authorisation of all issuer invoices.
Experience of working in financial services is essential.
Prior experience in the preparation of financial statements and FRS 26 disclosures.
Solid understanding of UK GAAP or IFRS.
Problem solving skills (particularly technical accounting issues).
Strong management and organisational skills given the volume of financial statements and number of parties involved.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work to tight deadlines to meet external requirements.
Multi-entity accounting.
Exposure to securitisation is preferable.
