Description
US citizen or permanent resident only.Position Description:
- Work with business consultants to define and create an end to end monitoring solution for company applications
- Work with the business consultants to implement monitoring scripts based on business defined user actions
- Implement monitors for custom services
- Establish an SLA monitoring and alerting framework utilizing multiple monitoring systems
- Create technical & business focused automated dashboards collecting data from multiple locations into a centralized repository
- Work closely with the Site Operations & Production Support teams for automated alerting for applications
Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years directly relevant work experience system administration/engineering, supporting technical development and operations
- Strong understanding of application performance monitoring and industry best practices.
- Industry experience implementing custom monitoring solutions
- Minimum 5 years experience with Technology & Tools: Gomez, Nagios, New Relic, Perl, Linux, Solaris, JBOSS, Oracle, PLSQL
- Requires a Bachelors Computer Science degree
