Excellent opportunity for a Cisco Network Engineer to work with a leading edge engineering group. This position involves architecting, designing and implementing network solutions and supporting complex network environments.

The Cisco Network Engineer will be responsible for
- The development and documentation of recommended standards, procedures, and processes for the operation and maintenance of the data network systems.

Cisco Network Engineer required skills include
- The ideal candidate must possess a deep understanding of Cisco's service provider product lines in the network and datacenter space.
- Must have at least 7 years of data engineering experience and overall design, engineering and deployment experience, along with a minimum of 5 years of Cisco related hardware experience.
- 5+ years experience with wireless telecom as well as 5+ years experience with switch/Router/network design, implementation, and configuration experience is required.
- Expert knowledge and experience with Cisco IOS is required.
- Experience with Cisco 6500 and 7600 hardware platforms from a design and operational perspective in a service provider environment is required.
- Similar experience in a large enterprise may be acceptable.
- A successful candidate should have very strong Layer 2 and 3 networking skills, including spanning-tree, MPLS, OSPF, BGP and QOS.
- Experience with Cisco IOS XR is desirable.
- Analysis and diagnosis of complex networking problems is essential.
- A Service Provider CCIE is strongly preferred, but will consider candidates with strong CCIE level experience.
- Experience working within a change management processes including the ability to create detailed Methods of Procedures is an essential component of this position.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent knowledge is necessary.
- Successfully completing an extensive background check will be required.
